No Stone? If you're in the SF area, Russian River and Bear Republic should at least make an appearance (just a couple hours north!)
Haha well I only just moved here a month ago and I'm broke because of said move, so the beer tasting has been a bit on hold cept what people bring into the office for Thirsty Thursdays.
If you're in SF proper, 21st Amendment, Thirsty Bear, and Rogue Public are all in the city and all worth a visit. La Trappe is also awesome though just a bar.
Coming out of lurker mode here, but some of my friends are your friends? We are ATOs. I'm in Sunnyvale on internship. Also, if you're happen to be in SoCal, (LA or SD), so much beer! Clearly, I have spent a lot of time thinking about beer.
Again, only been here a month and I'm crazy broke, so I haven't had a chance to go out for beer at all.

Oh, my bad. Wasn't trying to be creepy, I just thought you all knew each other. I have a beer list myself, so I'm always interested in what other people get to drink in their locales.

If you haven't yet, I highly recommend checking out City Beer Store on 8th and Folsom or Healthy Spirits on 15th and Castro. Excellent beer selections and two of my favorite places in the city. Village Market in the Ferry Building also has a decent selection and it's usually not overpriced.
I just bought a 4 pack of the Brouwerij Bockor Cuvee De Jacobin for the first time last week. Amazing. The "sours" are a style I am craving now. If you like them you should look for the Boxer's Revenge from Jester King Brewery. The most complex sour I have ever tried. Cheers.
Aren't they great?! They're just so vastly different from other beers. I'm definitely going to look for the Boxer's Revenge, hopefully I'll be able to find it!
